Deftones, Rise Against to play Bend

Hard rockers Deftones and Rise Against will co-headline at Les Schwab Amphitheater on July 4.
Post-hardcore band Thrice will open the show, which starts at 6:15 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.). General admission tickets cost $47.50 plus fees in advance or $50 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/DeftRisLSA17. Alternative metal band Deftones formed in Sacramento, California, in the late ’80s and rose to prominence in the late ’90s with the release of albums such as “Around the Fur” (1997) and “White Pony” (2000). The band’s latest album, “Gore,” was released last year. Lead singer Chino Moreno currently lives in Bend.
Melodic hardcore band Rise Against formed in Chicago in 1999. Its latest album “The Black Market” was released in 2014.
