“SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE”

Rating: PG for some mild action and rude humor.

What it’s about: Smurfette comes into her own while discovering a whole tribe of Smurfettes in the Forbidden Forest.

The kid attractor factor: The animation, kid-friendly humor and blue characters make this smurftastic for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: All of your unique qualities make you who you are, but you don’t need a singular label — being multifaceted is wonderful.

Violence: Some chase and action scenes as the Smurfs escape Gargamel and travel into the Forbidden Forest.

Language: No swearing, a few rude, toilet humor-style jokes

Sexuality: Just Hefty’s huge crush on Smurfette
