Ann Margret Theresa Wise

Ann Margret Theresa Wise, the most beautiful woman, passed away in Bend, Oregon, on March 29, 2017, at the age of 80. Ann was born in Grand Island, Nebraska, to August and Marie Goebel; sister of Gus, Kay, Jeanne, and Alice. Ann married Eugene Shaff and together, they had seven children. Many years later, Ann met Denny Wise of Bend, they fell in love and married on August 9, 1985. Ann enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, golfing, bowling, and dancing. She was a past member of Grange and president of the Ladies of Elks in Bend. After retirement, they moved to John Day, where Ann enjoyed playing bingo and bunco and selling their hand-crafted items at the Christmas bazaar.

Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Layne; and son-in-law, Craig Swann. She is survived by her husband, Denny Wise; daughters, Gail Clymer (husband, Chet), Robin Swann, Kim Voos (husband, David), and Ellen Cook; sons, Wade Shaff (wife, Mari) and Tracy Shaff. Ann is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29th at the Bend Senior Center at 1:00 PM.
