Charles Daniel Green, 91, died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Santa Marta in Olathe, KS. Charles was a lifelong resident of the Manhattan, KS, area prior to moving to Olathe. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Mont J. Green and Mary Teresa (McCarthy); brothers, Mont J. Green Jr., James Michael Green, and William David Green; and his stepmother, Maude Deely Green.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Nadine (Smith) Green; daughter, Polly A. Ellis and her husband, Terry of Overland Park, KS; and son, Mont J. Green and his wife, Amy of Bend, OR; three grandchildren, Andrew D. Ellis and wife, Courtney; Michael P. Ellis and wife, Lauren; and Caitlin Fore and husband, Kevin. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Hadley Ellis and Bennett Fore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held for Charles on Friday, April 28th from 3-5pm at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Ave. Manhattan, KS 66502. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Charles on Saturday, April 29th at 9:30am at Seven Dolors Catholic Parish of Manhattan, KS. Interment in Sunset Cemetery of Manhattan, KS, will immediately follow.
