Evergreen Avenue in downtown Redmond will be closed for repaving between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday from 6th Street to the U.S. Highway 97 interchange.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will have to use alternate routes during the closure.

Repaving of Evergreen Avenue is one of multiple road improvement projects scheduled in Redmond over the next few weeks.

Redmond Public Works Department crews will be doing asphalt maintenance on various streets from June 5 -7, weather permitting. Other maintenance projects include tree trimming, crack sealing and hot oil chip sealing.

All vehicles should be removed from the street on the scheduled dates and drivers should use alternate routes, if possible, during construction.
