About 15 miles of U.S. Highway 20 from the state Highway 126 junction in Sisters to the Deschutes River Bridge in Tumalo will be repaved beginning Monday.

High Desert Aggregate and Paving will work at night between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday through Friday, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation. The work will also include improvements to signs at the intersections of U.S. Highway 20 and Gist Road, Cloverdale Road and Fryrear Road.

The entire project is expected to be complete by the end of September. When completed, travelers will notice durable striping, centerline rumble strips, and recessed pavement markers.

Travelers can expect road crews controlling lane restrictions and delays up to 20 minutes through the work zone, according to ODOT.
