Lana Lorraine Williams (Norwood)

Our Lord called Lana Lorraine Williams (Norwood) 88, a longtime Bend, OR resident, home on June 2, 2017. Her loving husband of 64 years and their youngest daughter were at her side at their home.

Lana was born in Oskaloosa, IA on June 7, 1928, to Lona and Gertrude Norwood. She married Richard L. Williams on March 1, 1953, in Newton, IA. They moved to Bend, OR in 1969 where Lana worked for many years in the Medicare dept. at both the old St. Charles Hospital on the hill in downtown Bend and the “new” St. Charles at its present location.

Lana is survived by her husband, Richard L. Williams of Bend, OR, two daughters, Marcie L. Milburn of Newton, IA, Leana M. Geraghty of Bend, OR, brother, William Norwood, of Cowan Heights, CA, three grandsons, Justin Geraghty of Bend, OR, Joshua Geraghty of Long Beach, CA and Jordan Cutter of Boynton Beach, FL, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Lana touched the lives of everyone she met and will be sorely missed until we are together again.

A celebration of Lana Lorraine Williams Life will be held at Water Church, 21300 Bear Creek Rd. in Bend on July 15th from 4-6 pm.
