The No-Bake Cookie Co. of Bend has raised $500,000 from investors, including the early-stage venture fund FoundersPad, a company official and FoundersPad said Tuesday.
FoundersPad declined to disclose the precise amount of its investment, but Eric Healy, chief operating officer of The No-Bake Cookie Co., said the venture capitalists were among investors who contributed a total of $250,000 through the online platform CircleUp. The company raised an additional $250,000 through other sources, Healy said.
FoundersPad also assisted the company with its campaign on CircleUp, which helps entrepreneurs raise money from accredited investors, Healy said.
FoundersPad combines its investments with dedicated mentoring. The cookie company’s mentoring team includes Scott Allan, general manager at Hydro Flask parent company Helen of Troy; Heather Howitt, founder of Oregon Chai; Jason Moyer, principal of the Cascadian Group; and David Uri of Bend, a partner at Endurance Holdings.
The No-Bake Cookie Co. sells its product in about 6,500 stores across the country.
