What’s summer without a chance to get Slightly Stoopid? The Ocean Beach, California, reggae-rock septet will return to Les Schwab Amphitheater for the second year in a row Saturday on its Sounds of Summer tour, along with Bend favorites Iration, J Boog and The Movement. To help get in the mood for this sun-drenched spectacle, check out the band’s latest music video for the ukulele-fueled “One Bright Day” from the band’s 2015 album “Meanwhile … Back at the Lab” featuring singer-songwriter Angela Hunte and animated paintings by Hawaiian artist and pro-surfer Danielle Zirk. The original, signed canvases of these paintings will be auctioned to benefit the Global BrightLight Foundation, “a nonprofit that provides affordable solar energy solutions to rural and impoverished communities worldwide,” according to a press release from the band.
Slightly Stoopid, with Iration, J Boog, The Movement: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, doors open at 4 p.m.; $37 plus fees; Les Schwab Amphitheater, 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Drive, Bend; bendconcerts.com or 541-312-8510.
