Huston

Neal and Linda (Engle) Huston, of Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 10 at Black Butte Ranch.

The couple were married June 11, 1967, in McMinnville after dating in high school. They have Erica (and Jason) Racette, of Portland, and Andrew (and Nanci) Huston, of Bend.

Mr. Huston works as an architect. He is a past board member of the Bend Chamber of Commerce, Architectural Foundation of Oregon, Community Theater of the Cascades, Up With Downtown, Building a Better Bend and the Greater Bend Rotary. He enjoys serigraphy, sculpture, cartooning and finally learning to cook. Mrs. Huston is an office manager for Neal Huston and Associates Architects. She is an avid reader and past board member of the Kids Center. She balances her time between work, doting on grandchildren and homemaking.

They have lived in Bend for 47 years.
