Dutch Bros. Coffee, a Grants Pass-based coffee company, is recalling solar eclipse glasses it handed out at many of its stands Sunday, one day before the eclipse crosses Oregon on Monday morning.

Dutch Bros. purchased the glasses after receiving certification of ISO compliance from the manufacturer. But after further investigation, the company questioned the certification.

“Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, so we are issuing this voluntary recall,” the company said in a news release.

For those who received a pair of the glasses, they are asked to not use them and return them to the Dutch Bros. Coffee location in their area, where they will receive a free drink of their choice.
