CORVALLIS — A nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game against St. John’s is among the highlights of the Oregon State men’s basketball nonconference schedule. The Beavers’ complete 2017-18 schedule was announced Tuesday.

Oregon State plays Thanksgiving weekend at the AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando, Florida, opening with St. John’s on Nov. 23 in a game to be aired on ESPNU.

The Beavers are looking to bounce back from an injury-plagued 5-27 season in which they were just 1-17 in Pac-12 play and did not win a game away from Gill Coliseum.

A Nov. 3 home exhibition game against Pacific University of Forest Grove tips off the new season. The Beavers host Southern Utah on Nov. 10 to open the regular-season schedule.

Other notable dates on OSU’s nonconference slate include home games against Wyoming (Nov. 13), Long Beach State (Nov. 18) and Loyola Marymount (Dec. 2). On Dec. 16, the Beavers face Saint Louis in the Dam City Classic at Portland’s Moda Center.

Oregon State opens Pac-12 play with three straight games at Gill Coliseum, taking on Colorado (Dec. 29) and Utah (Dec. 31) before hosting rival Oregon (Jan. 5) in the first of two Civil War meetings.
