Pronghorn’s Jerrel Grow qualifies for PGA Professional

WORLEY, Idaho — Bend’s Jerrel Grow finished third at the Pacific Northwest PGA Professional Championship on Thursday to secure his place in the 2018 national championship.

Grow, director of golf at Pronghorn, shot a 2-over-par 74 in Thursday’s third round at Circling Raven to finish with a 7-under 209 overall and win $4,125. He qualified for the 2018 PGA Professional Championship, which is set for June 17-20 at Bayonet Black Horse in Seaside, California. The top 20 finishers in that tournament qualify for the 2018 PGA Championship.

Russell Grove won with a 15-under 201. Grove, from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, also won the Oregon Open Invitational in June at Juniper in Redmond.
