The Central Oregon Basketball Officials Association will hold an orientation meeting for the 2017-18 season at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Mountain View High School library in Bend. COBOA directors note that all first-, second- and third-year officials should plan to attend the orientation meeting.

COBOA commissioner Bob Reichert says new officials are needed and urges anyone interested in becoming a local high school basketball official to attend the orientation meeting. No experience is needed; training will be provided.
