Delayed openings — Several area restaurants have delayed their openings (or reopenings) for weeks longer than planned. Six months after vacating its location near Fred Meyer, Baldy’s BBQ is renovating a building on N. Sixth Street in Redmond. Don’t look for them before December. Work continues on the new Bronx Born Pizza outlet on NW Galveston Avenue in Bend, next door to Sunriver Brewing. And the East Village, a branch of the Village Baker on Windy Knolls Drive on Bend’s east side, has not yet scheduled a reopening date after its own renovation.
