• Thrash metal band Trauma — the band bassist Cliff Burton co-founded before moving to Metallica — canceled its show at Third Street Pub scheduled for Saturday due to an accident sustained by a band member, according to an email from Coma Booking and Promotions owner Mike Self. The show may be rescheduled, Self said; check back here for more updates.
• The Jacob Jolliff Band’s show scheduled for Feb. 19 at the Tower Theatre has been postponed. Jolliff, best known as mandolin player for newgrass band Yonder Mountain String Band, is scheduled to appear at Midtown Ballroom with that band March 21. The Tower decided to move the show in order to not conflict with that date, Executive Director Ray Solley said. A new date will be announced later, and ticket holders have been contacted about refunds or using the tickets for the new date, Solley said. Visit towertheatre.org for more information.
