Francis Allen Kraus, 69, passed away peacefully the morning of January 24, 2018 in Denver, Colorado, after a short illness. He was born in Wilson, Kansas, to parents Edwin and Donalda Kraus on October 21, 1948.

Francis worked for Miller Ford and Courtesy RV in Central Oregon until his retirement. After retiring, Francis worked for Holiday Retirement for a short time. He wintered in Yuma, Arizona, and spent summers between Seattle, Washington and Denver, Colorado. He was a good husband and father, and well loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Francis married Beverly Kraus in May 1974. He had five stepchildren; Mark (Maryjo) Steele, Colleen (Harry) Helbig, Shannon Steele, Patrick (Nancy) Steele, and Kathleen (Adam) Trujillo.

Francis is survived by siblings, Karlene Schneck of Ellinwood, Kansas, Dale (Connie) Kraus of Georgetown, Texas, Don (Patty) Kraus of Madras, and Leonard Kraus of Portland.

At his request, no service will be held.
