Six weeks: The Prineville Paddy Pint Run, 5K and 1-mile races around Prineville on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). Registration costs $29 for the 5K and the mile race. Two months: The Salmon Run, a half marathon, 10K, 5K and “Little Fry” children’s race in Bend’s Old Mill District on April 8. Entry costs $40 for the half, $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K and $5 for the kids’ race. More information is available online at http://bendraces.com/salmon-run/.

Four months: The first race of the Bend Trail Series summer series will be held on June 7. The series will continue on June 21, July 5 and July 19. Each race will be 4 to 7 miles on a trail in or around Bend. The location of each race will be revealed the Monday before each race. Five months: The Ochoco Trail Runs, 50-mile, 50K and 10.5-mile races based out of Walton Sno-park east of Prineville on July 7. Entry costs $120 for the 50-mile, $90 for the 50K and $45 for the 10.5-miler; prices increase starting March 1. Learn more at www.ochocotrailruns.com.
