Where to GO! in Central Oregon for wine tasting

Published 6:26 pm Monday, February 5, 2018

Central Oregon may be renowned for its craft beer scene, but wine lovers aren’t left out of the fun. Sip Wine Bar was readers’ top pick in the Where to GO! for wine tasting category, with the Naked Winery Bend Tasting Room and Portello Wine Cafe rounding out the top three.

Housed in a cozy west-side cottage, Sip Wine Bar offers a small but carefully curated selection of red, white and sparkling wines. Currently seven whites, 10 reds and three bubblies are available, with rotating beer options as well. The wine selections change seasonally, along with the tasty menu of cheese and charcuterie boards, small plates, salads and flatbreads designed to complement the vino. The venue occasionally features live music and in warmer months, the outside courtyard offers additional seating.
