New library program for writers — Deschutes Public Library has announced Write Here, a new umbrella program offering free classes and lectures for Central Oregon writers. Write Here formalizes and expands writing programs the library previously presented and aligns them in three areas: Writers Writing — workshops for writers to practice and share their craft; Writers Working — classes that explore the business side of the writing profession; and Writers Reading — events that bring local writers into contact with published authors and leaders in the literary arts.
