Crux Fermentation Project offers a bodacious beer sampler, according to GO! Magazine’s readers. That’s a tough category to win in a town filled with craft breweries.

“What we wanted to do was bring craft brewery to the actual customers. We wanted the customer to be a part of the brewery itself,” manager Christa Bishop said. “You walk into Crux and you’re amongst the brewers, you’re amongst the brewery equipment, you can see the beer being made.”

A beer sampler at Crux Fermentation Project consists of six 5-ounce pours of beer and customers can choose whichever six brews they’d like to taste from IPAs to saisons and imperial stouts to red ales.

The most popular Crux brews are the Cast Out IPA and Tough Love Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.
