Where to GO! for a ski run

When it came to Where to GO! for the best ski run, Mt. Bachelor was the flat-out winner no matter how you look at it. Northwest Express chair garnered first place in the minds of readers: the steep slopes of Osprey Way, Sparks Lake Run, Brookie’s Run, Snapshot Alley and Devil’s Backbone — all black diamond runs — are accessible from the chair, as is Sparks Lake Bowl, the West Bowls and pretty much an endless array of bowls.
In second place came another chairlift, Pine Marten Express. (Confidential to voters who added “Upper” to the chair’s name: Snow riders at The Bulletin are puzzled. Did you possibly mean Thunderbird, which runs more or less under the chair at the top?)
The third and honorable mention went to two actual runs, Tippy Toe and neighboring Thunderbird, respectively. Both runs are located conveniently next to Pine Marten Express.
