Few dining establishments in Central Oregon have a grassy, lawn area as large as that of Crux Fermentation Project, making it the perfect place to bring your furry friends and let them run and play while you enjoy a craft brew. The brewery has an enticing menu of sandwiches, salads and plates to share, like the Project Board of artisan cheeses, meats, bacon wrapped-figs and olives.
Customers can enjoy their bites at the outdoor standing tables while their pets sit nearby. During the wintertime, they have string lights and fire pits ablaze to keep you and your dog warm. In the summertime, the outdoor area at Crux is in full swing with music, lawn games and food trucks. If you go during the Sundowner hour — the brewery’s happy hour which lasts a half hour before and after sunset — appetizers to share are $2 off.
