Where to GO! for marijuana-related goods

Miracle Greens smoked all of Central Oregon’s dispensaries by winning in all three marijuana-related categories: Where to GO! for best marijuana dispensary service, newest flowers or bud varieties and largest variety of marijuana-infused edibles.

“It’s a culture thing. It starts with the crew,” Anthony Accinelli is the operations manager of the dispensary, located on Third Street in Bend. “I’ve definitely always put people first. Just like leading from the top, it’s that type of principle with customer service: If the people working in your shop are excited and willing and (have) bought into the culture and the idea behind it, then that should hopefully rub off on the customers.”

When it came to winning the best buds vote, Accinelli said that, too, has something to do with the culture at Miracle Greens, which strives to have at least eight varieties for sale at any given time.

“You always know there’s going to be an indica, there’s always going to be a sativa, there’s always going to be a hybrid,” he said. “We kind of set it up like a bar, where you know that we’re going to have what you want, all the time. That takes a lot of effort.”

When a flower vendor comes in with a sample, “I hand them out to all the budtenders, and then we have an actual process — taste, quality, aroma, smoke, flavor … and then they, the crew, sort of decides what’s on the shelf. Instead of it just being a one-person thing, it’s kind of a group effort.”

Miracle Greens’ edibles selection goes through a similar process, with Accinelli and staff looking at “its flavor, its effect. We look for local, we look for natural, we look for dependable.”
