A Redmond man is accused of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s 4-year-old daughter multiple times over the past two years.

Victor Hugo Harrizon, 22, was indicted in January on seven counts of first-degree sex abuse, three counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree attempted unlawful sexual penetration. The charges reportedly occurred at various times between January 2016 and December 2017.

Harrizon’s girlfriend contacted Redmond Police just after midnight Dec. 31 to report her daughter had described being sexually molested by Harrizon the day before, according to court documents.

The girlfriend told police she was at a funeral Dec. 30 and Harrizon was babysitting her daughter. She returned home around 5 p.m. and heard the sound of her daughter whining upstairs. Later that evening, she dropped Harrizon off at his house and returned home, where her daughter told her about the alleged sexual contact, according to court documents.

Redmond Police set up a recorded phone conversation Dec. 31 between Harrizon and his girlfriend. Harrizon denied there was sexual contact between him and the young girl during the phone conversation, according to court documents.

But during an interview with Redmond Police on Jan. 11, Harrizon reportedly admitted to multiple sexual encounters with the girl.

Court documents state Harrizon described having sexual contact with the girl at his house around Thanksgiving last year and at another time at his girlfriend’s old house and on Dec. 30 at his girlfriend’s new home.

Harrizon was then arrested and booked Jan. 11 into Deschutes County jail. He is being held on $300,000 bail.

Harrizon has been ordered to have no contact with his girlfriend or her daughter.

He is due back in Deschutes County Circuit Court for a plea hearing in March.
