Nov. 4, 1932 – Feb. 16, 2018

Margaret Gamble Denler, born as Margaret Constance Anderson, November 4, 1932, passed peacefully at her home on February 16, 2018.

Margaret and her husband, Warren O. Denler, moved to Bend in 2014 from Wasilla, Alaska.

Margaret was born in Canby, Minnesota, and raised her family in Anchorage, Alaska. She considered Alaska her home and that will be her final resting place.

Margaret lived life to the fullest. During her working years, she was a paralegal at a law firm in Anchorage. After retirement, she spent most of her time doing for others through her church, volunteering for various charities, and creating memories for her grandchildren. She had hoped to volunteer in the schools here in Bend by helping children learn to read, but her health conditions wouldn’t allow.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Denler; daughter, Constance Gamble Baty; and grandson, Aaron Baty of Bend. Sons, Robert Gamble of Ferndale, Washington, Bradley Gamble of Eagle River, Alaska, and Steven Gamble of Tucson, Arizona and their spouses. She has ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who all lit up her life! She blessed us with her love, wisdom, and humor even during the most challenging times. We will miss her deeply. May she rest in peace.

Private services will be held at later dates in Bend and Wasilla. Donations may be made to Partners In Care or the Transverse Myelitis Association.
