High Desert Revue — KPOV will hold the second edition of its High Desert Revue at 7 p.m. Saturday at Cascades Theatre, 148 NW Greenwood Ave., in Bend. The event benefits KPOV and includes the music talents of Bill Powers, Matthew Gwinup, Lindy Gravelle and Jumpin’ Joyce Respess; an old-time radio show; storyteller Pat Kruis; and the satirizing skills of the Around the Bend Players, featuring Brad Thompson, Judi Van Houweling and Barb Largent. “We were gratified at the warm and enthusiastic reception of our first presentation,” a press release quotes the show’s producer, Mike Ficher. “With so many talented musicians, gifted actors and a wonderful storyteller, we look forward to offering another memorable variety show for Central Oregon.” Tickets are $12 in advance at cascadestheatrical.org, $15 at the door.
