A crane now stands above the new drive-thru restaurant being built in front of the Safeway-anchored shopping center on Century Drive.

The crane is there because the site is so small the contractor cannot fit a forklift to move material, said Rob Kelleher, the general contractor. The foundation of the 2,600 square foot building has been laid, but the name of the restaurant still has not been disclosed. Kelleher was quoted in The Bulletin in September that a local, experienced restaurant owner plans to come in and open a restaurant on the site.

A nondisclosure statement is keeping the property owner, Century Park LLC and Kelleher from talking about what business is coming in.
