– Lucille Elizabeth Johnson – September 25, 1929 – February 12, 2018 – Lucille Elizabeth Johnson passed away peacefully February 12, 2018, at Aspen Ridge Assisted Living Center, Bend, Oregon. Born September 25, 1929, to Mary and Mahlon Couch, she was one of seven children. Lucille married Henry Rainey in January of 1954 and they were together for twenty years until his death. Lucille was married to Clarence Ray Johnson for twenty years, until his death in November of 2000. Active in Eastern Star, they served together as Worthy Matron and Patron in the Bend Chapter. They loved traveling to other chapters within the state during their tenure. A devoted Christian woman with unwavering faith, Lucille was loving, compassionate and giving to others in need. Lucille is survived by daughter, Laren Dee (Bob) Barton of Kelso, Washington; and granddaughters, Melodee Erickson and Cassie Perkins. She leaves behind a loving friend, Rabbine Harpell; sister, Josephine Moore; and numerous family members living in Bend. Graveside memorial service, Friday, March 2, 2018, 1:00 PM, at Deschutes Memorial Gardens, 63875 N. Hwy 97, Bend, Oregon.
