Four Central Oregon teams will take part in elimination games Tuesday and Wednesday in the Class 5A basketball play-in round.

In girls action on Tuesday, Summit is on the road to face Hillsboro at 5 p.m., and Ridgeview is at home to take on Putnam of Milwaukie at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday’s winners advance to the 16-team first round of the 5A state playoffs on Friday.

Boys play-in games on Wednesday include Bend High at home against St. Helens at 5:30 p.m. and Summit at Parkrose in Portland at 6 p.m. Wednesday’s winners play Saturday in the first round of the 16-team 5A boys state playoffs.
