• The Pacific Source Foundation for Health Improvement has committed a one-year grant of $58,529 to High Desert Food and Farm Alliance to support its Veggie Rx pilot study.
• The Pacific Source Foundation for Health Improvement has committed a one-year grant of $20,000 to Kemple Memorial Children’s Dental Clinic to improve access of dental care for children and young adults.
• Camp Abbot Trading Co., Sunriver, has been named one of four 2018 Coolest Hardware Store awards by Ace Hardware Corp. It was recently recognized at the Ace Hardware 2018 Pinnacle Conference in Las Vegas and shares the award with stores in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida.

• Geno’s Italian Grill has returned to Redmond after nine years in Madras. Its new location is 1857 N. U.S. Highway 97.
• Dollar General Store, 52612 U.S. Highway 97, La Pine, filed an application Feb. 22 with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission as a new outlet for an off-premises sales license, which allows the sale of malt beverages, wine and cider in factory-sealed containers for consumption off the licensed premises.
• Kah Nee Ta Vacation Resort, 6823 state Highway 8, Warm Springs, filed an application Feb. 22 with the OLCC for a change of ownership and a change of trade name for a commercial establishment full on-premises sales license, which allows the sale and service of distilled spirits, malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises.
