Three months: The Bend Beer Chase, a 50-mile, 12-leg relay race starting at Worthy Brewing in Bend on June 2. Transitions will be held at a number of Central Oregon breweries and the race concludes with a full-team “keg leg” in downtown Bend. Registration costs $300 for individuals and partners, $550 for teams of three to four and $825 for teams of five to six runners. Individuals may also sign up for the keg leg alone for $40. Six months: The Sunriver Half Marathon for a Cause, a half marathon, 10K and 5K that will be held at Sunriver on Sept. 1 and 2. Entry costs $70 for the half marathon, which will be held on Sept. 2, $50 for the 10K and $40 for the 5K. Both of the shorter races will be held on Sept. 1.
