Artists wanted — The 4th Annual Furniture Flip Design Challenge, a fundraiser for the Bend Area Habitat for Humanity, seeks artists to participate in this year’s event, slated for May 5. “Turn the uninspired into inspiring, promote your craft, celebrate sustainability and support affordable housing at one fell swoop with an entry (or three),” organizers said in their call to artists. The fundraiser “celebrates reuse through the upcycling of just about anything into furniture and decor.” The deadline for artists and vendors applications is March 30; designer applications are due April 4.
