‘Quietude’ talk, reception

Keira Kotler talk, exhibit — At Liberty, 849 NW Wall St., in downtown Bend is hosting the exhibit “Keira Kotler: Quietude,” featuring the San Francisco artist’s paintings, monoprints and photos. Kotler will speak about her art and design work at 6 p.m. Friday, with the opening reception following immediately at 6:30 p.m. “Quietude” displays through April 28. Admission is free, and reservations are recommended. “Her work brings an innate connection to the natural world, which we believe will strongly resonate here,” a press release quotes At Liberty partner Kaari Vaughn. On Saturday, At Liberty will host New York sculptor Tamar Ettun’s discussion “Breathing Still Life Talk” at 11 a.m., and artist/designer Sarah Kavage will give the talk “Creative Placemaking, Placekeeping, and Women’s Work Talk” at 2 p.m. The events are part of Bend Women’s March, a monthlong appreciation of women creating social, civic, and/or business change.
