Pot association seeks members

Celebrate Cannabis, a local trade association, is seeking applications for volunteers, committee members and board members.
The organization has announced its first member meeting, which will be April 10.
Membership is open to cannabis companies, interested individuals and ancillary businesses, such as accounting, law and software firms. Annual membership fees begin at $125 for individuals and $250 for businesses.
People who are interested in participating as volunteers, committee members or board members should first join the organization, and then stay tuned for email updates about the application process, according to a news release.
Celebrate Cannabis is a mutual benefit corporation, formed to protect the legal cannabis industry in Central Oregon. Founding board members are Jennifer Clifton of Clifton Cannabis Law, Hunter Neubauer of Oregrown, Gary Bracelin of Tokyo Starfish, Judy Campbell of Campbell Consulting Group and Jack Robson of High Desert Pure.
