Amos Lee will return to Bend this summer.

The soul-inflected folk singer-songwriter will perform at Les Schwab Amphitheater on Aug. 9, with support acts to be announced. Lee last performed at the amphitheater in 2014; before that, he performed at the Athletic Club of Bend in 2008.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Philadelphia and New Jersey, Lee first rose to prominence in 2004, when a demo caught the attention of Blue Note Records and singer Norah Jones. He would subsequently tour with Jones, Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Adele and John Prine (one of his musical heroes), among others. His sixth studio album, “Spirit,” was released in 2016.

Tickets cost $59 for reserved seating or $39 for general admission plus fees in advance, or $65/$45 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbAmosLee or at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. Presale tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the same link (use password Local). Visit bendconcerts.com for more information.
