Portugal. The Man will make its Les Schwab Amphitheater debut this summer.

The Portland-based psychedelic/alt-rock band, which this year won its first Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for its hit single “Feel it Still,” will perform at the amphitheater Aug. 31. Support acts will be announced.

Forming in Wasilla, Alaska, in the early 2000s and relocating to Portland not long after, Portugal. The Man released five albums through independent labels before signing with Atlantic in 2010. Last year’s “Woodstock,” the band’s eighth studio album, shot the group to national acclaim thanks to “Feel it Still,” which became the band’s first Billboard No. 1 on the U.S. Alternative Songs chart.

Tickets cost $39.50 plus fees in advance or $45 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbPortugaltheMan or at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District.
