SISTERS — All Sisters High needed was one run. So the Outlaws put up one big inning.

Despite going hitless for four innings, and being limited to one hit for six frames, Sisters erupted for four runs in the top of the seventh to secure a 4-0 nonconference baseball win over Creswell on Saturday.

Playing as the visiting team on its home field, Sisters (3-2 overall) relied on stout pitching by Hunter Spor and Turner Stutzman, who combined for 10 strikeouts in a three-hit shutout.

Pherry Luz came through offensively for the Outlaws, delivering a two-run hit in the top of the seventh inning to break a scoreless tie. Spencer Kemp also had an RBI in the seventh for Sisters, and Stuzman broke up Creswell’s no-hitter with a single in the top of the fifth.
