More announcements Tuesday from Sisters Folk Festival and Les Schwab Amphitheater:

• Justin Townes Earle, Amy Helm, Robbie Fulks and more will get their shot on a Sisters Folk Festival stage this year after getting smoked out in 2017.

The festival’s initial lineup includes many artists slated to perform at last year’s festival, which was canceled due to smoky conditions from the Milli Fire and other fires in the region. This year’s event takes place Sept. 7 through 9 at 11 venues throughout Sisters.

The lineup also includes Dar Williams; Hot Club of Cowtown; The Lil Smokies; Kahulanui; Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley; The Dustbowl Revival; Joe Purdy; Claire Lynch; Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers; Sam Reider & The Human Hands; Freddy and Francine; Battle of Santiago; The Accidentals; Haley Heynderickx; Joe Pug; Lindi Ortega; Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton; James Hill and Anne Janelle; Gangstagrass; Banda Magda; Martha Scanlan; Marshall Ruffin; Western Centuries; Jon Stickley Trio; Chuck Cannon; Kaia Kater; Trevor Green; Beth Wood; Scott Cook; Tremoloco; Danny Schmidt; Carrie Elkin; The Talbott Brothers; Dennis McGregor and The Spoilers; Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons; Brother Roy; David Stoddard; Justin Farren; and B-Side Brass Band. The full lineup will be announced in June, according to a press release.

Festival passes are on sale now at sistersfolkfestival.org and cost $150 plus fees or $50 plus fees for kids ages 18 and younger. Visit sistersfolkfestival.org for more information.

• If summer comes to Bend and Michael Franti & Spearhead don’t play a show at Les Schwab Amphitheater, did summer really come to Bend?

Fortunately, we won’t have to answer that question this year. The hip-hop/funk/“Soulrocker” will play the amphitheater for the ninth time June 19 as part of his Stay Human Tour, with Victoria Canal and Dustin Thomas opening.

Franti is working on a documentary titled “Stay Human,” which was also the title of his third studio album with Spearhead. A new album is due out in June as a companion piece to the documentary; all tickets purchased will include a copy.

Tickets cost $46.50 plus fees in advance or $48.50 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbFranti or the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. A presale will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the same link (use password Local). Visit bendconcerts.com for more information.
