Anniversary celebration — The Workhouse, the group artist studio and gallery in the Old Ironworks building at 50 SE Scott St., will celebrate its sixth anniversary with a special Last Saturday celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Music will be performed by Port Townsend, Washington, act solvents, This Island Earth and Anna Witham will give a joint music and dance performance, and poet Emily Carr will read as well as lead Dr. Carr’s Word Forage Game at nearby Sparrow Bakery. The Artist to Artist Speaker Series kicks things off at 6 p.m. with a discussion by Heather Crank and Sweet Pea Cole. Contact: facebook.com/theworkhousebend.
