Shirlee “Lee” Corrinne Franson died March 15, 2018, in The Dalles, Oregon.

Born to Leo and Elizabeth Farrier in Chicago, Illinois, April 1, 1927.

Married to Hubert Franson, a World War II veteran, the couple lived in various U.S. locations following employment assignments.

Retirement years were happily spent in Bend, where they enjoyed local activities and many devoted friendships.

Preceded in death by husband, Hubert. Survived by daughters, Lynette Meadows (Steve) and Laurelle Shelby (Robert); and sister, Mary Anne Farrier.

We shall miss her outgoing personality, sparky sense of humor, relentless interest in politics and her exceptional creative talents, including her great fascination and flair for fashion that dazzled us all.
