Redmond barbecue — Nearly one full year after closing its original Redmond cafe, Baldy’s BBQ has reopened in a new location just north of downtown. Owner Brian Dioguardi purchased the former Fireside Grille in 2016 and undertook a full renovation, including an outdoor dining area. Baldy’s originally opened on Bend’s west side in 2005 and later added an east-side restaurant. The Redmond restaurant opened on March 19.
