• Plateau Travel Plaza, owned by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, at 215 NW Cherry Lane, in Madras, is holding its grand opening April 6. The ribbon-cutting ceremony of Central Oregon’s newest and largest full-service truck and travel plaza is at 10 a.m.

• Bend Habitat for Humanity has been selected by Riverhouse on the Deschutes as the beneficiary of its 2019 gala. The Riverhouse will donate the event space, food and beverages and labor and production, enabling 100 percent of ticket sales to go directly to the nonprofit, which works with low-income families to help build them affordable and safe homes.

• Refine Medical has opened at 1835 NW Pence Lane, Suite 140, in Bend, and offers a customized, holistic approach to aesthetic wellness from medically supervised weight-loss programs to bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. The grand opening celebration will be April 12 from 4:15-7 p.m.

• Lucy’s Taco Shop, 542 SW Sixth Street, Redmond, filed an application March 21 with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission as a new outlet for a limited on-premises sale license, which allows the sale of malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises and the sale of kegs of malt beverages for off-premises consumption.

• Dump City Dumplings, 384 SW Upper Terrace Drive, Bend, filed an application March 21 with the OLCC for a change of ownership and a change of trade name for a commercial establishment full on-premises sales license, which allows the sale and service of distilled spirits, malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises.
