Six weeks: The Smith Rock Road Half Marathon and 10K, which will be held at Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne on May 13. Offering all of the scenery of the Smith Rock Ascent, minus the climbing, the road races cost $60 for the 10K and $80 for the half. Two months: Heaven Can Wait, one of Bend’s largest races of the year, will begin and end in Drake Park on June 3. Registration for the 5K costs $25, although the price will increase to $30 on Saturday. To learn more, visit https://foundation.stcharleshealthcare.org/Events/Heaven-Can-Wait.

Five months: The Sunriver Half Marathon for a Cause, a half marathon, 10K and 5K that will be held at Sunriver on Sept. 1 and 2. Entry costs $70 for the half marathon, which will be held on Sept. 2, $50 for the 10K and $40 for the 5K. Both of the shorter races will be held on Sept. 1. Registration is now available online at www.sunrivermarathon.com.

Seven months: Happy Girls Sisters, a trail half marathon and road 5K for women, which will be held in Sisters on Nov. 3.
