Les Schwab Amphitheater announced two more shows Monday morning, bringing this season’s total to 16 concerts — the venue’s busiest yet. Read on for details:
• Outlaw country singer-songwriter Willie Nelson & Family and bluegrass singer Alison Krauss will return to Les Schwab for a co-headlining concert Aug. 4. The duo last performed at the venue in 2015. Both artists will come armed with new music: Krauss released “Windy City,” a collection of classic country and bluegrass covers, in February of last year, and Nelson will release his album “Last Man Standing,” the follow-up to last year’s “God’s Problem Child,” this month.
Tickets cost $109.50 for reserved seating or $69.50 for general admission plus fees and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbNelsonKrauss or at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. A local presale will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at the same link (use password Local).
• Country-folk-rocker Brandi Carlile will come back to Les Schwab on Aug. 25. The Seattle-based singer-songwriter, who last played Bend in 2016, released her sixth studio album, “By the Way, I Forgive You,” in February to acclaim, topping Billboard’s Folk Album and Top Rock Album charts. Support acts will be announced.
Tickets cost $75 for reserved seats or $45 for general admission plus fees in advance, or $76/$46 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbBrandiCarlile or at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. A local presale will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at the same link (use password Local). Visit bendconcerts.com for more information.
