• Summit Bank has been recognized for the second year by Oregon Business magazine as one of the 100 best companies to work for in Oregon.

• J.C. Penney, 63455 N. U.S. Highway 97, is celebrating the Bend store’s 100-year anniversary on April 13. A ceremony with local officials and other guests will begin at 9:30 a.m. In-store giveaways will begin at 10 a.m.

• J Bar J Youth Services will receive $1,500 from the J.C. Penney Communities Foundation at the J.C. Penney centenary celebration.

• EarthCruiser USA LLC, manufacturer of expedition vehicles, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The company will be building four limited-edition trucks.

• Cuban Kitchen, 133 SW Century Drive, No. 4, Bend, filed an application March 27 with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission for a change of ownership, a change of trade name, a limited on-premises sales license, which allows the sale and of malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises and the sale of kegs of malt beverages for off-premises consumption; and an off-premises sales license, which allows the sale of malt beverages, wine and cider in factory-sealed containers for consumption off the licensed premises.

• La Pine Senior Center, 16450 Victory Way, La Pine, filed and application March 28 with the OLCC as a new outlet for a limited on-premises sales license, which allows the sale of malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises and the sale of kegs of malt beverages for off-premises consumption.
