• Jen Newton, owner of Jen Newton Jewelry, has joined the board of directors of the Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools. She has served in various community roles in education.
• Amy McCarthy-Smith, associate AIA, has joined Ascent Architecture and Interiors as a project coordinator. She has 10 years of experience in commercial, medical and residential architecture.
• Roberto Pineda has been promoted to business area sales manager of U.S. Cellular’s northwest market and is based in Redmond. He has been with the company for 12 years and most recently was the retail sales manager in Central Oregon.
