Youth notes

• Tony Anello-Dennee, a student at High Desert Middle School, has been selected for the 2018 Middle School Honors Performance series at Carnegie Hall, in New York, in June. He will perform as first tenor with the Honors Junior Choir. He is the son of Angelina Anello-Dennee and Chris Dennee, of Bend.

College notes

• Central Washington University has announced its dean’s list for the winter quarter 2018, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher for 12 or more graded credit hours: Andrea Kate Louise Harrild, Matthew Weber, Kate Campbell and Kendall Kramer, all of Bend.

• Stephen Cole Ireland was named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester at Johns Hopkins University. To be selected, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in a program of at least 14 credits with at least 12 graded credits. He is the son of Lynae and Dr. Stephen Ireland, of Bend, and attended Bend High School.

• U.S. Air Force Airman Clayton D. Wilson has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2016 graduate of Redmond High School and the son of Torina G. Wilson, of Redmond, and Curtis D. Morgan, of Prineville.
