Community members in Bend and La Pine are invited to participate in a survey seeking feedback on the current and an alternative school start time for the Bend-La Pine School District.

The survey is available online until May 31.

The district is seeking feedback from parents, students, staff and community members about a potential change to the start of the school day, which would be implemented for the 2019-2020 school year.

Prior to completing the survey, community members can review a presentation that includes current research regarding teen sleep patterns and school start times.
