REDMOND — Natalie Hill and Allicite Frost hit back-to-back homers in the first inning Tuesday, and Frost pitched a one-hitter to keep Ridgeview unbeaten in Intermountain Conference play with a 9-0 softball win over Mountain View.

Emma Cannon belted a two-run homer in the third inning for the Ravens (7-0 IMC, 12-1 overall), who won their 12th in a row. Kayla Berg’s fourth-inning double for Mountain View (1-3, 2-7) was all that stood between Frost and a perfect game — the second time this season Frost has faced just one batter over the minimum in a winning performance in the circle.

Frost struck out 11 and walked none, and she was 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs. Hill and Sage McVay were both 3-for-4 for Ridgeview, which played errorless defense.
